Unique designed commercial carpets
The NZ Rugby Museum located in Palmerston North features the history and memorabilia of rugby in New Zealand and is now open to the public for viewing.
This project required nine different All Black logos, dating from 1905 to present day, to be tufted into exact locations within the roll lengths of the carpet. Each logo is approximately 2 metres by 2 metres in size.
Cadence Bespoke Carpets worked closely with all parties including designer - Daniel Buxton, contractors - BSA Management and Doug Smith Project Management, to ensure the project was delivered on time and made to the precise specifications.
Cadence welcomes the introduction of the new ‘Due Palme Catalogo’ ranges from Radici Italy.
The new collection offers 21 ranges in up to 50 colourways.
These exquisite wilton carpets are constructed with fine quality ‘Wools of New Zealand’ yarns. The collection has plains, unique sisals and graphic designs which lend themselves to conference venues, quality hotels, tourist lodges, corporate offices and boardrooms as well as high end / designer residential dwellings
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
St Anne’s Catholic Church in Manurewa has recently had all their carpets replaced.
Our suppliers were CADENCE CARPETS. The quality of their product is exceptionally suited for our hard-wearing, high traffic areas.
Their liaison person with us, Barney Sharland, was extremely helpful. He listened to what we wanted, and even after we had rejected numerous colour samples, his patience and willingness to try and understand our needs was admirable. What he was finally able to present us with by way of sample might well have been purpose made for our needs. The finished product was true to sample and is a credit to the company.
Barney himself was left to advise us, within carefully spelled out parameters, on a contrasting carpet for another part of the job. His suggestion complimented the major job perfectly.
The carpet was delivered at the price quoted and in the time frame agreed.
Variations and additions to the job were easily acceded to.
The Auckland Carpet Company were the installers of choice for CADENCE CARPETS. They were brilliant. First class tradesmen, accommodating of the Church schedules, also able to handle add-ons easily, and they too delivered on quote and on time.
We got a first class product delivered and installed in a totally professional manner.
I am in awe at the all round high performance of both CADENCE CARPETS and the Auckland Carpet Company.

Company Recognized for Exceptional Waste Prevention, Recycling & Composting, Procurement and Educational Activities
Los Angeles, CA – [December 08, 2010] – Bentley Prince Street, Inc., a Los Angeles based commercial carpet manufacturer committed to sustainable commerce, is proud to be one of 285 California businesses and nonprofit organizations to be named a 2010 Waste Reduction Award Program (WRAP) winner by the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). CalRecycle selected each winner based on its reported waste prevention, recycling and composting, procurement and educational activities. Since the inception of WRAP in 1993, Bentley Prince Street has won the award a total of ten times, and consecutively since 2003, for its outstanding waste reduction programs.
“As part of our journey toward Mission Zero® we are continually implementing and refining programs that move us closer to eliminating any negative impact that we may have on the environment by the year 2020,” says Anthony Minite, president of Bentley Prince Street. “Being a ten-time WRAP winner distinguishes us as a company committed to preserving our state’s natural resources and letting our customers know that we take waste reduction seriously.”
Bentley Prince Street has designed a comprehensive approach to waste diversion that engages associates, customers and vendors through a variety of different programs. One of the highlights of Bentley Prince Street’s internal recycling and composting program is monthly dumpster dives, where associates volunteer to dig through trash to retrieve recyclables. The company’s ReEntry® 2.0 carpet reclamation program ensures that post consumer carpet is reused or recycled rather than discarded.
Just recently, the company launched Razor Hill™, a new product that reduces waste by utilizing tail ends of yarn from previous product runs within its Easy Street™ Collection family of broadloom and carpet tile offerings. Bentley Prince Street also practices environmentally preferable purchasing and works to educate its customers on best practices for buying truly green products.
“We began building sustainability into our business in 1994 and every year strive to move closer to our Mission Zero goal with stronger and more effective waste reduction programs,” says Kimbrely Matsoukas, sustainability manager for Bentley Prince Street. “Receiving the Waste Reduction Award again this year is a wonderful reminder that we are on the right track.”
Bentley Prince Street’s focus on integrating style and function with environmentally responsible practices has resulted in $203,483 in cost savings and 955 tons of waste diversion last year. Together, this year’s WRAP honorees have diverted more than 2 million tons of material from landfills and recorded more than $190 million in cost savings from their waste reduction efforts.
